Jotfi is built on a simple principle: your financial data belongs to you. The app stores everything locally on your device and does not transmit, collect, or share any personal information.

What we collect

We collect nothing. Jotfi does not collect, transmit, or store any data on external servers. All expense entries, tags, notes, and preferences are stored exclusively on your device using Apple's on-device data layer (SwiftData).

Data stored on your device

The app stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Expense entries (amount, note, tags, date)
• App preferences (currency, theme, display options)

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it using the in-app export feature (Pro).

Internet access

Jotfi does not require an internet connection to function. No data is sent to any server at any time during normal use of the app.

Third-party services

Jotfi uses RevenueCat solely to manage in-app subscription purchases (Jotfi Pro). RevenueCat may process limited purchase-related data (such as a device identifier) as required by Apple's App Store infrastructure to verify subscription status. This data is governed by RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

No analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs are included in the app.

Bank and financial account access

Jotfi does not connect to, access, or request access to any bank account, credit card, or financial institution. All entries are manually entered by you.

Children's privacy

Jotfi does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Since no data is collected from any user, the app is safe for all ages.

Data export

Pro subscribers may export their data as a CSV or plain text file using the in-app export tool. Exported files are generated on-device and shared only if you choose to share them via iOS Share Sheet. We never receive or process exported files.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, an updated version will be published at this URL with a revised date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
